What type of businesses are we looking for?
- Head office ideally within 100 miles of Greater Manchester, with potential for international trading.
- Focus on engineering, manufacturing, hiring/servicing, or similar sectors.
- Targeting businesses in growth markets with significant size.
Preference for direct sale models with potential for aftermarket sales.
- Owner-managed buy-outs, retirement sales, and non-core divestments are considered.
- Management teams could have equity incentive schemes as required.
- Existing systems or capability for process automation and commercial data processing preferred.
- Prefer newer infrastructure; Bryden Capital can finance new equipment or expansion if necessary.
- Acquisition funds available in the £2M-£12M range.
- Minimum £500k EBITDA (10% of turnover) or potential for turnaround.
- Strong GP% and medium to high operating gearing are advantageous.
- Turnaround and distressed scenarios will be considered if viable underlying business exists.
- Bryden Capital can quickly execute pre-pack administrations without external debt finance.
